Creative Reuse Toronto Storefront Drop-in Repair Event

​Repair Café is a gathering open to all where volunteer “fixers” help visitors learn how to repair their beloved broken household items for free. At the Creative Reuse Toronto Storefront Drop-in Repair Event there will be fixers available to help you fix your small appliances, home electronics, general housewares, toys, and clothing/textiles.

​About the Host: Since 2013 Repair Café Toronto volunteers work to build a more sustainable society and counter the throwaway mindset. Many people have forgotten that they can repair things themselves or they no longer know how. Repair Café helps people to appreciate the value of their possessions and kindles enthusiasm to build a sustainable society. In sharing and developing repair skills, the Repair Café shows how fun and worthwhile fixing things can be.

​This event's venue host, Creative Reuse Toronto, invests in people and the planet by redistributing traditional and alternative art supplies. Every single item in our facility has been donated and might have otherwise ended up in the landfill. Creative Reuse Toronto provides a wallet-friendly shopping experience, and offers community arts programming and environmental education in the Greater Toronto Area using the donated materials and supplies.
