About Event

OpenClaw is not going away. When we ran our first session back in February, a lot of people were still on the fence. Some thought it was genuinely transformative, others called it a hype tool that would fizzle out within months.

Since then, the signals have been impossible to ignore. Peter Steinberger, the creator of OpenClaw, joined OpenAI to lead the next generation of personal agents. On top of that, NVIDIA launched NemoClaw, an enterprise security wrapper for OpenClaw, and Microsoft hired a dedicated product lead to bring OpenClaw agents into Microsoft 365.

This is no longer an open-source experiment. It's becoming infrastructure.

This session is a fresh start for anyone who missed the first one or wants to revisit OpenClaw with updated context. Jan will walk through what OpenClaw is, how to get started, and what's changed now that enterprise adoption is accelerating.

You'll learn:

  • What OpenClaw is and how it's different from ChatGPT or Claude

  • The four capabilities that make it genuinely useful

  • How to set it up step by step (hardware options, installation, model choice, messaging)

  • Security considerations and how to approach them sensibly

  • How to use workspace files to give your agent a purpose, personality, and the ability to remember past interactions

  • How to install and use skills to turn your OpenClaw into a high-performing, repeatable agent

Who this is for:

Anyone curious about OpenClaw but unsure where to start. Whether you've been following the hype and want the real story, or you're ready to set it up and want guidance, this session will get you there.

No technical background required.

This is a 90-minute session with time for Q&A.

Hosted by Jan Meinecke, co-founder at 9x.
