3-3:30 pm: arrival and connecting, fortify with food and drink

3:30-4:30 pm: panel discussion and questions

4:30-5 pm: more networking and further refreshments

Who's this for? for climate communicators, organizers, clean energy policy folks, and anyone else excited to join the conversation.

Where? The Metropole is in Pioneer Square where "organizations, art, events and cultures converge, uplift and inspire others through their diligent work, relationships, outreach and advocacy...a set of historic buildings that were sustainably adapted and renovated to LEED-platinum standards, making it one of the most energy efficient and sustainable buildings in Seattle." Owned and operated by the Satterberg Foundation, The Metropole strengthens the foundation’s vision of supporting nonprofits through authentic, relationship-based partnerships within Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities.

What's the Climate Narrative Shift Project? It's a strategic research effort to understand and connect the dots between clean energy benefits and the issues impacting especially working class people’s lives.

It's a multi-year project led by Climate Solutions, and guided by a "kitchen cabinet" of advisors including Sudha Nandagopal of Bend the Horizon LLC, Lola Olateju of LO Consulting, Tiffany Wilk of TWC Collective, research experts FM3 Research and Grow Progress, content creator Sway and nonprofit partners Washington Conservation Action and Statewide Poverty Action Network.

Transit/transportation/accessibility notes: The Metropole is at Yesler diagonally across the street from Pioneer Square Light Rail Station/Smith Tower and along several bus routes. Recommended parking if driving is at the Butler Garage (one block). ADA: main entrance on street ADA with close by elevator inside to lower level. There is also one flight of stairs down to venue space. We will have a greeter at the street-level front door until 4 pm. Higher and lower chairs available.

Looking forward to seeing you!
