Ikebana Rest-shop
Rest-shop is an event devoted to rest, recovery, and collective wellbeing. The session invites you to slow down, listen, and connect to our shared experiences of overload and to shape softer, more sustainable ways of being together.
Ikebana (生け花) flower arrangement rest-shop is a gentle, hands-on experience in Japanese flower arranging, guided by mindfulness and intentionality. You’ll take home your own Ikebana flower arrangement, along with a flower frog (kenzan).
We’ll begin with a short talk on the different types of rest.
You’ll watch a demonstration focused on the seven principles of Ikebana.
Create your own arrangement with seasonal flowers and materials.
We’ll close with an open conversation about how Ikebana can shape design and tech, and encourage intentionality in how we live and create.
Ticket include materials, snacks and drinks <3
