About Event

Join us Monday, January 26 from 7:00-8:30pm at STATION DC for a rare public conversation with Jamie Siminoff - the founder who turned a garage-built doorbell idea into Ring, sold it to Amazon for over a billion dollars, and somehow still managed to get rejected on Shark Tank along the way. Jamie will be joined by their seed investor, Chris Fralic of First Round, for an honest, funny, and surprisingly human look at what it actually takes to build something enduring.

Jamie’s new book, Ding Dong: How Ring Went From Shark Tank Reject to Everyone’s Front Door, is part memoir, part playbook, and all hard-earned truth. This is a chance to hear the stories that don’t make the highlight reels - the failures, the near-misses, the stubborn belief that kept the lights on.

After the talk, Jamie will host a book signing for anyone who wants to meet him and get a copy signed. Whether you’re building, investing, curious about how big ideas survive, or just love a great story - this one’s for you.

It’s open to the public. Bring a friend. Join the room.
