Urban Tech Day by Metvibee x Yorkseed x SHE/THEY Club
We're living in a world of cities: 55% of the world's population now live in cities, rising to 68% in 2050 (UN). In Sweden this figure is already up to 88% since 2020 (SCB)!
Cities are complex systems and they need cross-disciplinary expertise working together to become more resilient and sustainable. The Urban Tech Day is therefore an invitation for all of you whose work is related to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities. Whatever vertical or industry you're working in, you're very welcome to this event to meet and greet fellow citymakers!
Therefore, this event is for you as investors, founders, ecosystem players, and anyone interested in ClimateTech, ConstructionTech, CivicTech, EdTech, FitnessTech, HealthTech, MobilityTech, PropTech, QueerTech, ResilienceTech, SportsTech, TourismTech, and many more Techs that help cities become better places to live!
Event rundown:
- 18:00-18:30 Registration and mingle

About your host:
Raphaela Mak (she/her) is the founder of Metvibee, a 3D + AI participatory urban planning platform that helps cities run planning consultations more efficiently. She is the community lead of Yorkseed and SHE/THEY Club in Stockholm. She is also the project lead of the Queer Stockholm calendar.
About Yorkseed:
Yorkseed is a premier global venture ecosystem connecting series founders, strategic investors, and ecosystem leaders. Born from a grassroots community, it now fosters purposeful connections and sustainable growth across diverse tech sectors worldwide. Whether you’re building the next breakthrough or backing tomorrow’s leaders, Yorkseed is your gateway to meaningful partnerships and transformative opportunities.
About SHE/THEY Club:
The SHE/THEY Club is a Europe-based community for queer female* and non-binary* start-up founders and their supporters, providing network, knowledge and growth opportunities. We exist because queer female* and non-binary* founders still face extra hurdles in the startup space – less funding, fewer connections, and more barriers. We’re here to shift that, so you can dive into your #QUEERBOSSENERGY.
