About Event

Starpath Robotics is a lunar resource utilization startup building autonomous hardware and software to mine ice and regolith on the Moon and convert them into in-space propellant, with an emphasis on liquid oxygen production for refueling satellites, landers, and deep-space missions. The company’s thesis is that locating propellant production at the Moon’s poles, where water ice is concentrated, can radically lower the cost and increase the cadence of missions beyond low Earth orbit by eliminating the need to lift all fuel from Earth’s gravity well.

Founded by former SpaceX and space-industry engineers, Starpath is developing a vertically integrated system that includes prospecting, excavation, conveyance, and thermal processing technology to extract water and oxygen from icy regolith and store the resulting propellants in depots for later transfer. The startup has raised a seed round in the low-teens millions of dollars from venture investors to mature its rover and processing architecture, execute full-scale terrestrial demos, and prepare for early lunar demonstration missions in partnership with commercial lander providers and government programs.
