Edmonton Game Dev Meetup, Sea Change Takeover - Come Out For A Beer!
Hey Edmonton, come on out to our fave brewery for a night of great beers, food, networking and Oilers line combo talk.
We have the whole brewery booked up, but have limited capacity so we'll require registrations, and please ensure if you can't attend you update to allow someone on the waitlist to come. You are welcome to stay beyond 7:30pm too.
The event will be co-hosted by entertainment and video games lawyer David Jol so come armed with your lingering legal questions. Food and the first couple of rounds are on David - thank you!
Any questions, hit up Josh from Maskwa Games or David ([email protected]) and can't wait to see you all.

Chandler Fogden Lyman Law https://cfllaw.ca/ - Western Canada's premiere boutique entertainment law firm. A note to Indie Devs: the agreements you enter into can make or break your studio whether it’s an agreement with your other founders, your employees and contractors, your investors, or your publishers. You need to work with a lawyer that understands your business and, more importantly, the industry your business is in to ensure these agreements align with your goals and protect your interests. If your lawyer does not know what Steam is then I don’t care how qualified they may seem, they cannot help you. One of the most important decisions an indie developer can make is to work with an actual video games lawyer.
Maskwa Games - We make Roblox games for your company or your current PC game. We are a proud Metis game studio and just completed www.metislife.ca that is helping connect people with Metis culture and the Michif language.
