Mt Rose Ski Tahoe Sustainability Tour

​Join the Reno Sustainability Professionals on our first sustainability tour with Anna Nason, at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. As their Sustainability Manager, Anna has graciously offered to give us a peak behind the scenes to explore what sustainability means for our local ski resort; from composting, electric snowmobiles, forest management, sustainable procurement, and biodiesel are all fair game.

​Park in the main parking lot and we can meet at the ticket booths at noon for the main tour. Then you have the option to choose your own adventure: Ski before and/or after (snow permitting), join a Nature Tour, or grab a drink at the Timbers Bar. Looking forward to seeing everyone to explore sustainability in action at Mt Rose.

~12:00pm-1:00pm: Mt Rose Sustainability Tour with Anna Nason

​12:30pm-6:00pm: Sleep-In Saturdays (discounted PM half-day ski tickets)

​1:30pm-2:30pm: Mountain Nature Tours (nature tour with Mt Rose sustainability team; need a valid ticket/ pass and gear to ski/ board)
