Breaking Enigma 2025
Breaking Enigma 2025 is the National Development Company’s (NDC) first-ever national hackathon, inspired by Alan Turing’s pioneering work in decoding the Enigma—symbolizing innovation, problem-solving, and collaboration. The event calls on Filipino youth, students, and professionals to co-create inclusive, gender-responsive, and technology-driven solutions for societal challenges. Participants may choose from three key innovation tracks: Sustainability, focusing on circular economy models and green innovation; Creative Industry, emphasizing digital empowerment of arts, culture, and creative enterprises; and Technology, which explores the use of AI and emerging tools for inclusive development. Each team must have 3 to 5 Filipino members, ages 15 to 30, and must submit a CV per member as part of the eligibility requirements.
