Founders in the making: From research to startup
How do you go from a promising lab result to a company that solves a real problem?
Join us for a panel with scientists who have founded biotech startups and an investor who backs science-based spin-offs. They will share how they decided to start a company, how they moved their technology out of the lab, how they funded the first steps and what they would do differently.
Starting a company does not mean you have to stop being a scientist or become a CEO. This session explores the different ways to take part in turning research into impact.
The event is free and will be held in Spanish.
Please note that capacity is limited and attendance is subject to approval.
Who should attend?
Undergraduate, master's and PhD students in Madrid
Postdocs and researchers at universities and research institutes
