We'd like to personally invite you to MELLA Community's upcoming TABLE. We've reached our mentor cap for this edition, and we're now opening seats for mentees in our reverse mentoring format — where everyone teaches and everyone learns.

Porquê participar como mente?
Na MELLA, acreditamos que a representatividade e a educação transformam vidas.
A maioria dos programas de mentoria não foi concebida para nós. Foram desenhados para nos incluir. Não é a mesma coisa.
Um mentor que atravessou as mesmas barreiras não te dá teoria. Dá-te o atalho. E quando alguém que se parece contigo te diz "eu fiz isto e funcionou" — acreditas.
É por isso que a TABLE 2 começa pelo interior. Não vamos buscar especialistas de fora. Vamos ativar o que já existe entre nós. E no formato reverse mentoring, cada pessoa na sala traz algo que outra precisa de ouvir. Porque ser Villager não exige nada de extraordinário. Exige aparecer. Partilhar o que sabes. Notar quem está ao teu lado.

Why join as a mentee?
At MELLA, we believe representation and education can change lives.
Most mentoring programmes weren't designed for us. They were designed to include us. That's not the same thing.
A person who went through the same challenges doesn't give you theory. They give you the shortcut you need. And when someone who looks like you says, "I did this, and it worked" — you believe it's possible for you too.
That's why TABLE 2 starts from within. We're not bringing in outside experts. We're activating what already exists among us. And in the reverse mentoring format, every person in the room brings something another needs to hear. Because being a villager doesn't require anything extraordinary. It requires showing up. Sharing what you know. Noticing who's beside you.
Qual é o compromisso? / What we need from you?
Apenas uma manhã: 9 de Maio, das 10h00 às 16h00
Vais ter 3 ou 4 sessões de cerca de 20 minutos com mentores que partilham a tua experiência cultural e profissional. Cada sessão é uma oportunidade para trazeres um desafio real e saíres com uma ação concreta. E porque é reverse mentoring, vais também partilhar o que sabes — a tua experiência tem valor para alguém na sala.
Just one morning: May 9, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
You'll have 3 or 4 sessions of around 20 minutes with mentors who share your cultural and professional experience. Each session is a chance to bring a real challenge and leave with a concrete action. And because it's reverse mentoring, you'll also share what you know — your experience matters to someone else in the room.

A MELLA estabelece a ligação entre mentees e mentores, considerando o teu percurso, os teus objetivos e a experiência dos mentores disponíveis.
Antes do evento, vais receber o perfil de cada mentor com quem vais ter sessão, para te preparares e aproveitares ao máximo o teu tempo.
Enviamos também um guia breve com dicas para estruturares as tuas sessões e saíres com uma ação concreta.
MELLA will match you with mentors based on your journey, your goals, and the experience of the mentors available.
Before the event, you'll receive the profile of each mentor you'll meet, so you can prepare and make the most of your time.
We'll also send a short guide with tips to structure your sessions and leave with a concrete action.
