About Event

As part of the Graduation Show programme, we are delighted to invite you to a special MARD seminar exploring what it means to design with and for living systems.

Bringing together graduates from MA Regenerative Design and MA Material Futures, the event will feature a series of moderated conversations, presentations, and reflections on emerging regenerative design practices. Rooted in MARD’s commitment to living systems the seminar offers an opportunity to explore how design can contribute to a thriving more-than-human world.

The seminar is structured around three themes, represented by a group of graduates sharing their work.

Living Materials How might design shift if materials are treated as collaborators rather than resources?

Living Systems How might relational and systems-based design approaches reshape how we work across more-than-human worlds?

Living Futures What kinds of relationships, ethics, and worldviews must design centre to support regeneration?

Through dialogue and exchange, participants will explore how regenerative design can respond to ecological, social, and cultural challenges while cultivating new ways of living, making, and relating. The seminar also offers an opportunity to connect with members of the wider MARD community and engage with diverse perspectives on regenerative design.

Capacity is limited to approximately 40 participants.

Please reserve a free ticket if you would like to attend.
