About Event
Indigenous Peoples’ insights and perspectives on the climate and biodiversity crisis, and its solutions, are critical. However, their involvement in the journalism that informs climate debates is frequently overlooked, with Indigenous People too often seen as the subjects of stories, rather than the tellers of those stories.
Dialogue Earth’s eight Indigenous Voices fellows seek to fill this gap. Reporting from across the Global South, they are providing their window on climate and biodiversity crises and solutions.
In this panel, a selection of the fellows will introduce their reporting and discuss the importance of Indigenous journalism for climate action.
