Thomas Sauvin presents Beijing Silvermine | Live Podcast and Projection

[EN] On Saturday March 21, The Analog Club, Dans Le Bain Podcast and Quintal Atelier are honored to host Thomas Sauvin for a special evening around Beijing Silvermine as part of PRINT.
Built from over a million anonymous negatives rescued from a recycling plant on the edge Beijin, Sauvin’s archive has become a landmark in contemporary photography. For one night, and beyond, it takes over the third floor of the building through a live conversation and a large-scale slide projection installation.
The evening begins at 5 PM with a live podcast recording in French with Roxane Moreau (Dans Le Bain), followed by the opening of the installation. Three parallel projections will run simultaneously, each unfolding a different series from the archive.

[FR] Samedi 21 mars, The Analog Club, Dans Le Bain Podcast et Quintal Atelier ont le plaisir d’accueillir Thomas Sauvin pour une soirée spéciale autour de Beijing Silvermine dans le cadre de PRINT.
Composée de plus d’un million de négatifs anonymes sauvés d’un centre de recyclage aux abords de Pékin, l’archive de Sauvin s’est imposée comme une référence de la photographie contemporaine.
La soirée commence à 17h avec une conversation (en français) entre Roxane Moreau (Dans Le Bain) et Thomas Sauvin, suivie de l’installation immersive organisée par The Analog Club. Trois projecteurs de diapositives se déploieront en parallèle, chacun révélant une série issue de l’archive.
