Because policy settings match large new loads with new supply, data center investment expands Australia's clean energy system rather than drawing on it. Alongside world-leading rooftop solar and fast-growing storage, that makes Australia a rare market where digital infrastructure and the energy transition are being built together — and where the ambition is to build and adopt AI, not simply host it.
