🎁 THIS HOLIDAY SEASON, LET’S MAKE SOMETHING WONDERFUL TOGETHER.
What if the best gift you gave this holiday season wasn’t something you bought—but something you built, brought, or shared?
Join Human Bloom Collective for an afternoon of creativity, play, connection, and holiday celebration inspired by Chicago and the communities that make it extraordinary.
One city. Endless possibilities. Everyone has something to contribute.
🛠️ BUILD IT. BRING IT. SHARE IT.
Your gift to Chicago could take almost any form:
🎮 Games & Toys: Create a digital or physical game, invent something playful, or bring favorite games, puzzles, and toys for others to enjoy.
🎄 Holiday Magic: Design ornaments, make decorations, wrap something wonderful, share festive décor, or help transform our gathering into a holiday wonderland.
🏙️ City Solutions: Imagine tools, resources, or experiences that make Chicago’s neighborhoods more connected, accessible, welcoming, or vibrant.
🎨 Art & Imagination: Create installations, interactive worlds, music, stories, or experiences inspired by Chicago’s people, neighborhoods, and culture.
🤝 Community & Connection: Build something that brings neighbors together, celebrates local businesses, welcomes newcomers, or helps someone feel at home.
Digital or physical. New or existing. Useful, playful, beautiful, or delightfully unexpected.
Bring something to share for the afternoon, create something from scratch, collaborate with others, or simply come participate.
Gifts and donations aren’t required. Your presence and participation count.
🎉 CREATE FIRST. CELEBRATE TOGETHER.
We’ll build, experiment, collaborate, decorate, and play—then share our creations and enjoy the holiday experience we’ve brought to life together.
Come with an idea, join a team, contribute something festive, or discover your inspiration in the room.
Because sometimes the most meaningful thing we create isn’t a product.
It’s a connection. A memory. A moment of belonging.
❤️ WHO SHOULD COME?
Founders, designers, developers, artists, makers, gamemakers, students, educators, community builders, neighbors, Chicago newcomers, lifelong Chicagoans, families, friends, and curious humans of every creative background.
Come solo or bring your people. No special skills, supplies, or experience required.
🏠 77 COMMUNITY AREAS. ONE CHICAGO. COUNTLESS WAYS TO GIVE.
Home isn’t just a place.
It’s the people who welcome us, the traditions we share, the neighborhoods we love, and the experiences that bring us together.
This December, let’s create something worth sharing with Chicago—and with one another.
BUILD A GIFT FOR CHICAGO.
SHARE SOMETHING WONDERFUL.
CELEBRATE HOME.
