​Language Does Matter: How We Communicate Our Findings as Scientists (Part 2)

​In this session, we’ll continue discussing how to integrate inclusive language principles in scientific communication. This session will refresh the concepts learned in Part 1 and expand on those learnings with examples of scientific communications: from recruitment posters to research presentations and from working with animal models to working with community. The presentation will also introduce principles of ethical relationship-building. Attendees will leave with a practical resource to support engagement and inclusive communication practices. Prior participation in part one is not required, but you can watch the recording here.

Open to researchers and trainees across all disciplines, we introduce core principles of engaged research and explores how inclusive, community-partnered approaches can strengthen research design, practice, and knowledge sharing in neurodevelopment research.
