Cosmo-Local Songwriters Circle Featuring Amanda Movio, erdnase & Rach
Join us for an intimate evening of songs and stories at the CoQuest Cosmo-Local Songwriters Circle.
This showcase brings together songwriters from Hamilton, London, and Colorado, creating a small but wide-reaching circle of artists connected through a shared love of songwriting. In the spirit of traditional songwriters rounds, each artist will take turns sharing original songs, the stories behind them, and the moments that inspired their work.
At CoQuest, we often talk about building strong local creative ecosystems. This night plays with the idea of “Cosmo-Local”, where local scenes remain deeply rooted in place while still connecting across cities, communities, and creative networks.

Amanda Movio

Rooted in Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Alternative Rock, her soulful voice and experiential songwriting captivate audiences. Since entering London's music scene in 2022, she's toured eastern Canada with Lovetown Records, performed at NXNE and major festivals, and studied at Berklee School of Music. erdnase
erdnase is the solo songwriting project of Lliam Buckley, a multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of the organization behind CoQuest, Corduroy Earth. Alongside songwriting, his practice explores the intersection of music, visual art, and emerging technology. His upcoming body of work, Georgian Bay Again, explores themes of identity, relationships, and growing up through the lens of Canadian landscapes and the memories they hold. Blending folk songwriting with lo-fi bedroom pop and nostalgic lyrics, the project pairs autobiographical songs with collage-based visual works. Through erdnase, Buckley experiments with new ways creative mediums can inform and expand one another.
rach
rach is a poet and musician rooted in the mountains of Colorado, originally from the foothills of Chumash land in California. Holding an MFA in Poetics from Naropa University, her work moves fluidly between music, poetry, and performance, drawing inspiration from landscape, language, and the rhythms of the natural world.
