🥗 Longevity × Food

Food as medicine: from diet to biological resilience

Food is one of the most powerful — and accessible — interventions for longevity.

Long treated primarily as calories or diet trends, nutrition is now being reframed as a key regulator of metabolism, gut health, inflammation, immune resilience, and long-term aging biology. What we eat and drink shapes cardiovascular risk, brain function, microbiome balance, and disease trajectories across decades.

At the same time, a new wave of foodtech innovation is transforming how we understand and produce food. From AI-driven personalized nutrition and microbiome insights to next-generation proteins, longevity superfoods, functional ingredients, and nutraceuticals, founders and scientists are redefining food as a platform for prevention, performance, and health optimization.

🎤 This meetup explores how food, hydration, and nutrition science are becoming core pillars of longevity — and what this means for healthcare, biotech, and the future of food.

Food & food samples will be provided! 🥗🥙

AGENDA

🧬 1. Intro: Longevity × Food — from diet culture to food as medicine

By Arnaud Auger, Director & Deputy Head of C.Lab at Cathay Innovation (global venture capital firm), and Co-Founder & Co-Leader of Don’t Die San Francisco, a community exploring the future of longevity, healthspan, and prevention.

💡 2. Startups Pitches (2 min each)

  • Trilliome – Precision microbiome ingredients for healthy aging.

  • Myospan – Developing next-generation protein technologies designed to preserve muscle mass and mobility during aging.

  • Fuelin – A performance nutrition platform helping athletes optimize fueling, metabolism, and long-term health through personalized nutrition.

  • Nuri – An AI agent that recommends the best food for your biology from nearby restaurants to support healthier eating.

  • Bitesense – A mobile platform that scans restaurant menus and analyzes nutritional impact to guide healthier food choices.

  • Uncracked – Developing seaweed-based functional ingredients designed to improve everyday nutrition and healthier food formulations.

🌟 3. Two Panels: Founders & scientists redefining food for longevity

A conversation with leaders building at the frontier of nutrition science, gut health, and food innovation.
