About Event
Kick off tech week with Mayor Lee and key leaders followed by a breakfast co-hosted by East Bay EDA to bring startups, midsize firms, and enterprises working on AI to discuss economic development opportunities in Oakland and East Bay. You'll be part of a facilitated discussion with local leaders regarding AI opportunities such as local AI deployment, talent & workforce needs, ethical safeguards & community engagement.
Format of session aimed to be interactive (i.e. who’s in the room mini‑pitches, Matchmaker Wall, Activation Map). Focus of session to be centered on helping map Oakland’s tech economy more explicitly.
