More About the Webinar
As the backbone of the global economy, SMEs face unique challenges but also hold the potential to drive significant environmental and social impact. Most lack in-house sustainability teams, dedicated budgets, or access to expertise, leaving little capacity beyond day-to-day operations. Meanwhile, large organizations rely on accurate supplier emissions data — much of it from SMEs — to inform strategic decisions, manage risks, and deliver on climate commitments.
This session will explore how collaboration between SMEs and large organizations can accelerate Net Zero progress across industries, and showcase the BMO SME Climate Clinic, a program that supports resource-constrained SMEs by pairing trained university students with companies to calculate Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions — helping them launch their sustainability journey without diverting focus from core priorities.
