Guys... we are BORED of the same founder events.
You sit in a room, half listen to a sh*t panel, maybe speak to two people you already know, then head back to work. 😴
So we wanted to try something different.
On Thursday 23rd April (8–9am), we’re hosting a small founder session at Lowlu Sauna in Kentish Town. It’s a brand new space and the whole thing is built around proper conversations.
It’ll be hosted by founders (Amelia, ivee), Will Caplan (Tano), and Sasha Cayward, who’s a performance psychologist working closely with founders.
Amelia just raised £1M and is backed by Steven Bartlett and angels from Microsoft AI and Balderton, and Will has raised over £4m from Seedcamp and Cherry Ventures - and both are in the thick of scaling. 🚀
The format is veryyy simple. Three saunas, three conversations, and you rotate between them. Cold plunge in between each one which, fair warning, wakes you up very quickly. 🥶
Kind of like speed dating!!
The sauna convos:
1️⃣ Sasha’s sauna will focus on the side people don’t talk about enough. What pressure actually does to you, how your identity shifts as a founder, and what “resilience” really looks like when things aren’t going to plan. She's all about the psychological side of being a founder. MUCH NEEDED.
2️⃣ Amelia will be talking about personal brand. She's got 35k followers, does over 1m impresisons per week, and has grown her LinkedIn following 30x in 12 months. She'll tell you how to actually stand out when everyone is posting the same thing - and how to turn that attention into something USEFUL (read: revenue).
3️⃣ Will’s running the third sauna on marketing and funnel efficiency. He's building AI-as-a-service in this space and speaks to the best CMOs out there every day. He'll talk about where early stage growth usually breaks, and how to fix it without just throwing more budget at the problem.
There will also be a few other saunas you can go in if you want to have more private/ 1 on 1 chats (or just sit in silence... we feel you).
We’re keeping it small so it actually feels like a conversation, not a crowd. 30 max.
At the end there’s a bit of time to hang out, chat, and meet people without it feeling forced.
There's showers so you can go straight to the office from there.
Tickets are £10, which just covers the sauna. We’re not making any money from this.
If you’re building something and want a slightly different kind of morning, come along. It’ll be a cool group!! 🔥
