​That's the ambition behind 5x5, a growing global network of healthspan innovators focused on this topic, connecting to share experiences and best practices. Founded by Aging 2.0 co-founder Stephen Johnston, 5x5 has brought together like-minded pioneers in Zurich, Paris, London, Singapore, Sydney, and Melbourne.

​Your hosts — Stephen Johnston (Melbourne, via UK, US) and Michael Lindenmayer (Chicago, via Brazil, UK) — will share fresh insights from their recent travels in Japan, where they've been exploring healthspan innovation and building out Chorus: an open, cloud-based platform that coordinates real-world pilots across cities, providers, and ecosystems, connecting operators, innovators, and researchers to test interventions, generate structured outcome data, and compare results at scale. The initial focus is a "bathroom health OS" developed in partnership with one of Japan's leading OEMs.

​Korea and Japan are arguably the world's most pressing case studies in rapid societal aging — and the approaches, adaptations, and frictions playing out here are ones the rest of the world urgently needs to understand. We'd love to hear your perspectives, first-hand experiences, and honest take on what's working and what isn't as South Korea navigates this transition.
