Future ReUse Builders Story Time & Tool Petting Zoo

​Bring your little builders, makers, and explorers to the ReBuilding Center for a fun and family-friendly Story Time and Tool Petting Zoo!

​Hosted by Executive Director Debra Vanderwerf at RBC's iconic cob (earth-built) front entrance, this special event begins with a children's story celebrating creativity, repair, reuse, and imagination. After the story, kids can explore a hands-on Tool Petting Zoo featuring child-friendly play tools and take home reuse-themed coloring pages.

​Perfect for curious children ages 3–8, this playful activity encourages young minds to imagine, build, create, and discover the many ways people can make, fix, and reimagine the world around them.

​Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
