About Event

As part of the Climate Courage programme, held during Sustainable Fashion Week.

The most sustainable clothes are the ones we already own. Join us for an evening of storytelling, creativity, music and conversation as we celebrate the garments that have stayed with us through life's milestones, memories and moments.

Whether you're a passionate thrifter, a fashion lover, a mender, a climate advocate, or simply curious, this is a fun evening to connect with others and rethink fashion beyond trends and consumption.

We invite you to bring an item of clothing, accessory, or textile that means something to you and share its story. Perhaps it's been repaired countless times, handed down through generations, found second-hand, travelled the world with you, or marks a significant moment in your life. Share for two to five minutes, or simply come along to listen.

What to expect:

👕 Styling Challenge

🎤 Sustainable Fashion Open Mic

✨ Special Performance

🎧 DJ & Mingling

🍴 Food & Drinks

Bring: An item of clothing, accessory, or textile with an extended-life story to tell, e.g. pre-loved, upcycled, repaired (optional but encouraged).

Who is this for?

Everyone is welcome. No experience with public speaking is required, and sharing at the open mic is entirely optional. Whether you have a story to tell or simply want to listen and connect, we'd love to have you there.

Together, let's celebrate the stories already hanging in our wardrobes and imagine a fashion future built on creativity, care, and courage.
