Preparing Digital Fashion for Roblox
This masterclass will guide participants through the process of preparing and adapting digital fashion garments for real-time platforms such as Roblox. The session will cover how to take existing 3D fashion designs and make them suitable for interactive environments, including best practices for mesh preparation, optimization, and platform-specific asset requirements. Participants will learn how professional 3D fashion tools and 3D modeling software fit into a real-time pipeline, and how garments are translated from high-quality design assets into lightweight, performance-ready files for use in virtual worlds. The class will also provide an overview of the technical and creative considerations involved in ensuring garments meet platform standards, function correctly in real-time environments, and are ready for use within virtual platforms. The session will conclude with a live Q&A, allowing participants to ask workflow, platform, and pipeline-related questions.

Why it's important:
Real-time platforms require different technical and structural standards than traditional 3D fashion rendering
Designers need to understand how to adapt garments for interactive environments
Knowledge of platform-ready asset preparation is becoming a core digital fashion skill
Educational institutions are increasingly aligning with real-time and virtual world pipelines
Understanding optimization and performance is critical for scalable virtual fashion
This workflow bridges fashion design with game-engine and platform-based environments
