Beauty that regenerates the world: Ingredients for a net-zero, nature-positive, and equitable future
Beauty that regenerates the world: Ingredients for a net-zero, nature-positive, and equitable future
Breakfast Roundtable | 8:30am - 10:30am, Thursday, 25 Sept 2025
Consumer pressure and the shift towards net-zero and nature-positive commitments are reshaping how beauty and personal care products are made. Yet, for brands looking to integrate regeneratively-produced raw materials into their products, the path from ambition to action remains complex. Ingredient Insets—raw materials embedded with environmental impact within supply chains—offers a powerful solution. But its implementation at scale requires radically new forms of collaboration and transparency.
The beauty and personal care industry continues to emerge as a champion for investing in regeneration beyond climate. Forested and TNC are co-hosting a roundtable to convene 25–30 leaders across the beauty and personal care industry, regenerative agriculture, and nature-based solutions. Together, we will explore how to overcome barriers to sourcing regenerative ingredients, align insetting methodologies with real-world operations, and unlock new models for verified, farmer-centered impact in value chains.
Objectives:
Identify common challenges and emerging solutions in sourcing regenerative, raw materials
Explore how companies can credibly integrate regenerative, raw materials into their climate and sustainability strategies
Spark collaboration across brands, formulators/manufacturers, and suppliers to scale regenerative sourcing models that deliver carbon, biodiversity, and community impact
The Nature Conservancy is a global environmental nonprofit working to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. Operating in over 70 countries, TNC uses science, partnerships, and innovative financing to tackle climate change, protect biodiversity, and support sustainable livelihoods.
Forested is a women-led Ingredient Insets business based in East Africa. We partner with smallholder farmers and indigenous land stewards to produce and supply net-zero and nature-positive raw materials to global consumer brands.
Coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided. For more information on this event and/or to inquire about attending, please email [email protected].
