Detroit Micromobility Innovation Bike Tour!
No American city is more deeply connected to mobility—past, present, and future—than Detroit. And while Detroit has a storied history with the automobile, the mode that is now having a major impact on the future of Detroit’s transportation, economy, and culture is micromobility. And what better way to see a city and learn about its innovative approaches to micromobility than on a bike tour!
Please join us for a free, 3.5-hour guided bicycle tour that introduces you to the people, businesses, and infrastructure shaping Detroit’s future in micromobility. We'll also visit some historical, cultural, and natural landmarks along the way!
The ride will be a slow roll, about 7 miles in distance over 3 hours, and do-able for anyone who can ride a bike and is in moderate physical condition. We will meet and get on our bikes at 3 pm at the rotunda at the south end Washington Blvd, on the east side of Huntington Place conference center. The ride will end just in time for the Mobility Week Micromobility Mixer party 6:30 at Eastern Market Brewery!
Participants assume all liability riding bicycles for this event.
