We are pleased to welcome you to the 2025 Innovation Forum in Amsterdam. This year, the event will bring together leading voices from across the European wind energy community to shape the research and innovation agenda for the upcoming Horizon Europe Innovation Action (IA) on Wind Energy.
This year’s Innovation Forum indeed offers a unique opportunity to collaboratively define R&I priorities, build strong consortia, and prepare for the upcoming EU call HORIZON-CL5-2026-09-D3-03 (currently in draft form). With a likely emphasis on strengthening the role of the core consortium and more direct activities, the funding landscape is expected to evolve—potentially reducing the role of Third Party Funding Schemes (FSTP).
EERA and WindEurope are jointly preparing a proposal aligned with the NewindEERA Programme and the ETIPWind SRIA, and we are looking to integrate smaller, high-impact projects as dedicated work packages (WPs).
What to Expect
Sub-programmes will present R&I priorities based on submitted project ideas and existing roadmaps.
Discussions will involve representatives from research, industry, and the European Commission.
Your contributions will directly influence future calls and collaborative structures.
