This community habitat restoration event is a wonderful way to learn about native plants, support local wildlife, and connect with fellow environmental stewards. Date & Time: January 17th, 2026. 9:00 AM-12:00 PM
Meeting Point / Directions: Park Address: 6300 Hetzler Rd. Culver City, CA 90232. Volunteers will meet in the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook parking lot, located at the top of Hetzler Road. It takes approximately 5 to 7 minutes to drive from Jefferson Blvd. to the top of Hetzler Road due to heavy pedestrian traffic. When you reach the roundabout, continue straight; the road will lead directly to the parking lot. Please note that this lot fills up quickly on weekends. Alternative parking is available along Jefferson Blvd. or at Culver City Park (near the upper baseball fields), but these options will require some hiking time to reach our meeting spot. Volunteers will receive free parking passes to display on their dashboards.
