About Event

Welcome to AI Workflow 101 Vancouver! 👋

Join us for an evening with fellow students, professionals, creators, small business owners, and AI-curious people here in beautiful Downtown Vancouver.

Whether you’ve already been using ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI tools — or you’re just getting started and wondering how AI can actually help in your daily work — you’re welcome here.

This meetup is designed for beginners. No coding background is required.

Instead of focusing on complex AI theories, model architecture, or technical jargon, we’ll explore one practical question:

How can ordinary people turn everyday tasks into simple, repeatable AI workflows?

You’ll learn how to use AI to organize messy information, summarize documents, generate content, analyze images, create task lists, and build your first practical AI-assisted workflow.

⏰ Please arrive 15–30 minutes early — we’ll start on time, and arriving early will give you time to check in, grab a seat, and meet other attendees.

Agenda

🕕 6:00pm — Doors Open & Check-in Arrive early, check in, and connect with other AI-curious people in Vancouver.

👋 6:30pm — Welcome & Opening We’ll kick off the evening with a quick introduction to AI Workflow 101, why we’re hosting this meetup, and how practical AI skills can help students, professionals, creators, and small business owners.

🧠 6:40 – 7:00pm — What Is an AI Workflow? A beginner-friendly introduction to AI workflows. We’ll explain how a normal task can be broken into clear steps and completed with the help of AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and other assistants.

No technical background needed — this section is for everyone.

🛠️ 7:00 – 7:25pm — Live Demo: From Messy Ideas to Actionable Output Watch how AI can turn real-world inputs — notes, screenshots, documents, product ideas, or meeting content — into summaries, task lists, bilingual content, and structured next steps.

We’ll focus on practical examples you can use right away in school, work, content creation, or business operations.

✍️ 7:25 – 7:45pm — Build Your First AI Workflow Follow a simple template and create your first AI workflow during the session. You’ll learn how to turn a daily task into a repeatable AI-assisted process.

Bring your laptop if you’d like to follow along, but it’s not required.

🎤 7:45 – 7:55pm — Guest Sharing & Q&A Hear quick insights from invited guests on how they use AI workflows in their own work, projects, or creative process.

🤝 7:55 – 8:30pm — Closing & Networking We’ll wrap up with next steps, community updates, and time to connect with other attendees, share ideas, and explore future collaboration.

A quick note on capacity: Space is limited, so please RSVP only if you plan to attend. If spots fill up, we may open a waitlist to make sure everyone has room to enjoy the evening. 🙌

What to bring:

💻 Laptop or tablet, if you want to follow along 📱 Phone is enough if you just want to watch and learn 🧠 Curiosity and one daily task you wish AI could help you with

This is a beginner-friendly, no-code AI meetup. If you’ve ever felt that AI events are too technical, too advanced, or not practical enough, this session is for you.
