Join us on Friday, June 19 at The Collective Seattle for a one-of-a-kind afternoon at the intersection of futbol, AI film, and the future of storytelling. ⚽🎬
What's Happening and Why
We're combining a World Cup watch party with an AI Film Screening to help The Seattle AI Film Festival and The 601 Club for two specific reasons.
1.) We're raising funds to attract world class AI creators and builders to the 2nd Seattle AI Film Festival Aug. 29-30 at McCaw Hall Seattle Center. This is the big show and we need to welcome the world.
2.) The 601 Club looks to support its members by bridging their networks and sharing their community.
Your ticket helps us accomplish those two missions. You'll meet friends old and new to see an exciting match during a summer friday lunch hour. After the match, we'll show winning sports AI films from an AI hackathon held the day before. You'll also hear first hand the roadmap of meetups and activations leading to the 2-day Seattle AI Film Festival Aug. 29-30.
Schedule
11:00am — Doors Open & Networking Arrive early. Grab a drink. The room will be full of filmmakers, technologists, founders, and football fans who are building Seattle's creative AI scene. This is the community. Meet it.
11:50am — SAIFF & The 601 Club A short look at The Seattle AI Film Festival and The 601 Club.
12:00pm — USA vs. Australia, Live Kickoff. Full match on screen. Cheer loud.
2:30pm — AI Film Screening: For the Love of the Game The match ends. The AI films begin. We screen the top projects from the previous day's Gen Jam — 1–5 minute AI films and music videos created by 60 of Seattle's best AI creators in a single afternoon, all on the theme of futbol and what it means to the world. Expect cinematic range: intimate portraits, global anthems, experimental storytelling, and AI visuals that will make you look twice.
2:50pm — What's Next: Information about the 2026 Seattle AI Film Festival, Aug. 29-30 at McCaw Hall Seattle Center. How you can help. Updates on The 601 Club and its summer season.
3:00pm — Finish: Hang out. Make an afternoon of it. Find out more about The Collective.
Why Attend?
The World Cup only comes to Seattle once. And Seattle's AI creative scene is hitting its stride at exactly the right moment. This event is both a celebration of the world's game and a genuine showcase of what local AI creators can do when you give them a brief, a deadline, and five hours.
