DJing for Creatives (In Person)

About Event
These in-person DJ labs give participants the chance to practice and play. Youth will work directly with controllers or turntables, learning how to cue songs, blend tracks, and build simple sets.
Facilitators support them as they try different genres, experiment with transitions, and develop their own approach to selection and sequencing. The environment is designed to be low-pressure and fun, encouraging questions and creativity.
By the end of the series, participants will have a basic set or mix concept and a clearer idea of whether DJing is a path they want to keep pursuing.
Funded by Ontario Trillium Foundation.
In Partnership with For Youth Initiative.
