About Event

Her Samaya Vision Board Workshop

We are starting 2026 by slowing things down.

This workshop is a chance to step away from the noise, sit with yourself, and think about what you actually want this year, not what you should want. No pressure, no productivity talk, no “new year, new you” energy.

We will guide you through a thoughtful vision-setting process using images, words, textures, and prompts creating a board that reflects how you want to feel, live, and grow this year.

What to expect

  • A guided vision board creation session

  • All materials provided (boards, magazines, prompts, glue, tools)

  • $15 food/drink coupon from Mayil Coffee

  • Gentle reflection, creative flow, and unhurried conversation

  • A cozy, welcoming space to connect with other south asian women

Date: Sunday, January 11, 2026
Time: 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Location: Mayil Coffee, Toronto
Tickets: $40 (includes materials and food/drink coupon)

Come create your vision for the year, intentionally, creatively, and together 🤎✨

📝 Note: Tickets are non-refundable and spots are limited for an intimate gathering. By purchasing your ticket you are agreeing to Samaya Community Guidelines and Event Terms.

Our gatherings sell out quickly, so book your spot early!☺️

About Her Samaya 🤎

Her Samaya is a growing creative community for South Asian women in Toronto & the GTA. In just a few months, we’ve grown to 2100+ members, hosting sold-out gatherings that blend art, culture, and sisterhood.

The word Samaya means “time” and at its heart, Her Samaya is about reclaiming time for ourselves. Time to create, to connect, to slow down, and to simply be. Our mission is to hold intentional spaces where South Asian women can belong fully, celebrate our shared roots, and build joyful new traditions together.

About our Saree Social Series 🌺

Her Samaya's Saree Social is a signature series created as a space for South Asian women to gather, connect, and embrace our culture in joyful, everyday ways. Each edition offers a new twist, where we celebrate traditions, share stories, and build belonging through food, fashion, and festivities. Sign up to our newsletter to know about our next Saree Social.

About the Founders 👩🏻 👩🏻

Her Samaya was founded by Sushmitha and Ameera, two South-Asian immigrant women who longed for a space that felt like home while living in Toronto. What began as a small creative outlet has now grown into a thriving community one that continues to build belonging and celebrate South Asian culture in all its diversity.
