「bitcoin++'s Insider Edition」は、ビットコインの技術カンファレンス「bitcoin++」が発信するWebマガジンです。世界各地でビットコインをつくる開発者・技術者たちの仕事にスポットを当て、bitcoin++のコミュニティ内外で起きていることを伝えています。
今回のミートアップは、そのInsider Editionの名を冠して東京で開催します。
bitcoin++'s Insider Edition is the web magazine of bitcoin++, the technical Bitcoin conference series. It showcases the work of Bitcoin builders and tech talent around the world, with stories from across the bitcoin++ community and beyond. This Tokyo meetup is held under the Insider Edition name.

ビットコインビルダーと過ごす、東京の夜
Arkプロトコルの実装「Bark」を開発する Second の Matthew Vuk さんたちの来日に合わせ、日本のビットコイン開発者 Joe Miyamoto さんをお迎えして、Tokyo Bitcoin Base（TBB）でBitDevsスタイルのイベントを開催します。
BitDevsは、世界各地で開かれているビットコイン開発者の集まりです。最新の技術トピックや提案を題材に、参加者みんなで話し合うディスカッション形式が特徴です。ビットコインのプロトコルを第一線でつくってきた人たちと同じテーブルを囲める、貴重な機会です。開発者の方はもちろん、技術の話を聞いてみたい方もぜひご参加ください。

Matthew Vuk（Second／Researcher）
Arkプロトコルの実装「Bark」を開発するSecondのリサーチャーです。カナダのウィルフリッド・ローリエ大学でビットコインクラブを立ち上げ、大学生向けのビットコイン開発者教育にも取り組んできました。bitcoin++などの技術カンファレンスにも登壇しています。2026年には、アフリカのモバイルマネーをArkで決済する取り組みにも関わっています。
Joe Miyamoto（ビットコイン開発者）
バイオインフォマティクスの研究者からビットコイン開発者に転身し、国内外の暗号資産取引所で開発に携わってきました。.NETでライトニングネットワークを扱うライブラリ「DotNetLightning」や、ライトニングのLoop機能を汎用化した「NLoop」の開発者です。Bitcoin Tokyo 2024では技術ワークショップを担当し、パネルのモデレーターも務めました。
A Tokyo Evening with Bitcoin Builders
Matthew Vuk of Second, the team building Bark (an implementation of the Ark protocol), and other builders are coming to Tokyo. To mark the occasion, Tokyo Bitcoin Base (TBB) is hosting a BitDevs-style evening with them and Japanese Bitcoin developer Joe Miyamoto.
BitDevs are meetups held in cities around the world where people interested in Bitcoin development discuss the latest technical topics and proposals together. It's a rare chance to sit at the same table as people who have shaped the protocol. Developers and anyone curious about Bitcoin tech are welcome.

【About the Guests】
Matthew Vuk (Researcher, Second)
Matthew is a researcher at Second, the team behind Bark, an implementation of the Ark protocol. He founded the Bitcoin club at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada and has worked on onboarding university students into Bitcoin development. He speaks at technical conferences such as bitcoin++, and in 2026 helped bring Ark-based settlement to mobile-money systems in Africa.
Joe Miyamoto (Bitcoin Developer)
Joe moved from bioinformatics research into Bitcoin development, and has worked as a developer at both domestic and international cryptocurrency exchanges. He is the creator of DotNetLightning, a library for working with the Lightning Network on .NET, and NLoop, a generic implementation of Lightning Loop. At Bitcoin Tokyo 2024 he ran a technical workshop and moderated panel sessions.
