​Ancestor Dreams In Color

​Ancestor Dreams in Color is an hour long color therapy session set against sound bath music. You will receive a coloring kit with the drawing of your choosing and a set of colored markers. The idea is not to finish your art piece but to lean into what colors move you, lean into the ways in which you apply the color. Midway in the session, there will be a deep breathing meditative moment in order to realign providing fresh focus. An hour of finding peace in the simplicity of coloring.

​Cynthia Dennard is an ex-advertising maverick who transitioned into an interior designer and is now fully becoming the artist she has always been. Based in Brooklyn, her love is the creation of original pen & ink drawings that reflect her African historical roots combined with her American reality.

​Additionally, her love of textiles has grown into the construction of large scale two dimensional pieces using fabric and woods from the African diaspora.

​Timothy is a musician and recording artist from NYC. He is a world travelled performer, singer, songwriter and producer. As a touring keyboardist and vocalist with Gym Class Heroes he has toured and or performed with The Roots, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne, T-Pain and more. Timothy is an RIAA certified gold featured artist for his work on Travie McCoys “Lazarus” album and is a composer of innovative ambient sounds.

​Timothy founded Astral Recess LLC in 2017. Astral Recess is dedicated to enriching the lives of highly sensitive individuals and the ASD community through sound and meditation.
