Unlocking Civic Participation for Decentralised Solar

​Through this gaming-based workshop, we aim to identify behavioural and communication interventions to advance rooftop solar adoption. Set within a residential complex considering rooftop solar at an upcoming society meeting, the game requires each building to secure a majority vote in favour of adoption. Using intervention and counter-intervention playing cards, participants will surface key barriers, myths, and concerns around rooftop solar, and explore behaviour change and communication strategies that can help convince residents to vote in its favour.
