The first musical event since Unbound Bookstore’s soft opening is here. Thing Things is an independent initiative by Unbound, dedicated to fostering the free flow and growth of creation and dialogue. We focus on inviting artists, musicians, and activists to share their works, practices, and reflections, spotlighting authentic and profound expressions within the realms of music, art, and the humanities.
格外书店试运营以来的首场音乐活动来了。「意思意思」（Thing Things）是格外发起的独立项目，致力于让创作与对话自由流动、生长，专注于邀请艺术家、音乐人和行动者分享作品、实践与思考，关注音乐、艺术与人文领域中真实而深度的表达。
🔊 Artist 艺术家: Snoww
As a producer, DJ, singer, and writer, Snoww founded the influential Chinese all-female bands "Pseudo-Gentle" and "The Hormones." She also directs cutting-edge music and education projects such as E-Motion, E-School, and "Siwen Electric Field."

Snoww’s music is a profound intersection of East and West. She masterfully intertwines the cool rhythms of Deep House and the granular textures of Chillwave with the aesthetic of traditional Eastern tonalities. By deconstructing melodic logic, she seeks to awaken deep emotional flows within a rational electronic framework.
Snoww 的音乐是一场东西方的深度交汇：她善于将 Deep House 的冷峻律动、Chillwave 的颗粒质感，与东方古典的音色美学交错缠绕。通过重构旋律逻辑，她试图在理性的电子框架下，唤醒听觉深层的情感流动。

More than just a performance, "Sonic Novel" is an ongoing live creation project by Snoww. Unbound Bookstore is honored to host this special, one-of-a-kind edition in San Francisco.
这不仅是一场表演，更是 Snoww 的一个长期现场创作项目。格外书店非常荣幸地在旧金山举办这一场特别的、独一无二的活动。

Snoww breaks old narratives through evolving sonic breath. For this event, she will invite 1–2 guest artists from various fields—traditional vocals, wind instruments, physical performance, visual arts, writing, or installation art—to collide as "outsiders" and disrupt existing structures. These interactions will not be polished into a "fusion" but preserved as evidence: as footnotes, and as a self-examination of the present moment. What you will hear is not a performance, but an act of creation in progress.
Snoww 将通过不断演变的声息打破旧有叙事。在本次活动中，她还将邀请 1–2 位来自不同领域的艺术家——传统声腔、管乐、身体表演、视觉艺术、书写或是装置艺术，作为“异类”碰撞并扰动既有结构。所有触动将不被装饰成融合，而被保留为证据：作为注脚，作为对当下的自我审视。你将听见的不是演出，而是一次正在发生的创作。
