Systems for Regenerative Transition — Austin Community Workshop
A guided workshop and community gathering for people working across regeneration, systems thinking, venture building, governance, land stewardship, agriculture, regenerative finance, and organizational design.
We are a small group coming into Austin for a special set of conversations next week: Kevin, a retired engineer turned investor; Oliver, founder of the Open Systems Foundation and a European systems architect working across legal, organizational, financial, and systemic capital design; and Jackie, an international ecosystem weaver and strategic advisor connecting regenerative, social impact, and aligned capital networks globally.
Together, we are developing practical pathways toward a more coherent regenerative economy through commons infrastructure, catalytic finance, coordination systems, governance, and investable ventures already taking shape.
In this session, we will share a data-driven scenario modeling approach, supported by custom software developed by our team, to explore systemic shocks, transition pressures, breakdown points, and possible pathways toward the commons. The session will then open into collaborative breakout discussions designed to draw out the insight, experience, and active work already held by participants. We will also share elements of the commons-based architecture we are building across finance, venture pathways, governance, legal trust structures, licensing, interoperability, and distributed stewardship.
This gathering is an invitation to think together, explore meaningful collaboration, and build stronger bridges between the Austin ecosystem and wider networks across California, Europe, and beyond. Expect networking, guided workshop activity, systems dialogue, and open exchange
