About Event

We're excited to announce our very first Knowledge Sharing Session!

ChucK Programming Language

Presenter: Santiago Quesada – Electronic engineer, composer, and music researcher from Colombia. He holds master's degrees in Music Research and Colombian Traditional Music. His practice bridges live coding, computer music, and traditional Colombian music, with a focus on creative technologies and AI.

What to Expect: This talk introduces ChucK, a strongly timed programming language for real-time sound synthesis, algorithmic composition, and live performance. Santiago will share concrete examples from his own work applying ChucK to Colombian musical traditions, including rhythm, timbre, and structural thinking. The session will conclude with reflections on how ChucK can interact with contemporary AI approaches.
