Sustainable Gastronomy Week (SGW) is a global initiative launched by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to raise awareness of sustainability in food systems—from farm to table and back to the earth. Our vision is to inspire action through real examples of regenerative, circular, and socially sustainable gastronomy. Sustainable Gastronomy Week brings together private and public food actors, local producers, educators, and the general public to explore how food can drive positive change. Malmö Food Council is proud to host and develop this event locally for Malmö and the Söderslätt region. This project is financed by Leader Söderslätt and the EU.
Together, we create the food system of the future—today.
At the Foodtech Innovation Network, we believe that by supporting small and medium sized enterprises we can unlock the full potential of foodtech to create a sustainable and resilient food system that nourishes both people and planet, while creating jobs in the region. This is why we founded the Foodtech Innovation Network. Foodtech Innovation Network is a joint collaboration between Region Skåne, Krinova, Livsmedelsakademin, Almi Syd Företagspartner, Lund Tekniska Högskola (LTH), Malmö Stad, and Innovation Skåne as associated partner. The project is partially financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Fund for Skåne and Blekinge.
