About Event

Join the Architects Foundation at The Octagon for an exclusive behind‑the‑scenes look at the upcoming renovation of this National Historic Landmark.

Presented at DC Climate Week, this program will be led by Carl Elefante, FAIA—a nationally respected architect known for his leadership in sustainability, resilience, and historic preservation, and a former AIA President—alongside Carl Holden, AIA, Partner at Hartman Cox Architects specializing in historic preservation and intimately involved in various projects at The Octagon and Kathy Dixon, FAIA, Principal of DC-based K. Dixon Architecture and Architects Foundation Board Member. Members of the Architects Foundation team will also share insights into the project’s vision and impact.
