About Event

Suskihanna Gurung known as Suski, is a force to be reckoned with in the creative industry, known for her unwavering "Big Didi Energy" and a backbone made of steel. In a world obsessed with instant gratification and fast-paced trends, Suski stands as a champion for intentionality and craftsmanship. Whether she is navigating the music scene or the broader creative landscape, she prioritizes long-term impact over short-lived hypes. Suski is dedicated to the art of "becoming", believing that the most resilient projects , and people, are those built with patience, consistency, and a refusal to rush the process.

In this session, Suski breaks down why the "hustle and heart" narrative needs a serious reality check. Whether you’re creating art or working on the front lines to help others, we are all stuck in a culture that demands fast results and instant wins. Suski argues that anything truly great isn't a sprint; it’s a Kachuwa race. By channeling her signature "Big Didi Energy," she explores how to find the backbone to stay true to your mission, even when there is constant pressure to move fast and follow the crowd.

This talk dives into why real impact requires depth and patience rather than just a quick fix, highlighting how music and creativity are critical tools for voicing social issues. Embracing the mantra that nari nai durbar ho, Suski emphasizes the power of being the "musical opposition", using your craft and inherent strength to challenge the status quo and speak truth to power when words alone aren't enough. Ultimately, she invites us to resist the "rush" and own our own timelines, shifting our focus from chasing the current hype to the slow, steady work of building something that lasts, both for our communities and ourselves.
