Museum Francisco Carolinum and Its Web3 Journey

​This keynote traces the museum’s engagement with Web3 since 2021 — from the foundation of the Collection Francisco Carolinum and the acquisition of virtual land in Cryptovoxels to the realization of exhibitions in the metaverse. It follows the continuous growth of the collection across three blockchains — Ethereum, Tezos and Bitcoin — and presents selected works, artist groups and museum projects that shaped its development as one of the early museum collections dedicated to blockchain-based art.
