Eye of the Dragon: Odyssey

​Odyssey is building the next layer of space infrastructure: orbital supercomputers. The startup is developing AI-powered compute platforms designed to run machine learning workloads directly in space, turning satellites into autonomous data centers that can process massive amounts of information without waiting for downlinks to Earth.

​By moving compute off the ground and into orbit, Odyssey aims to unlock near-real-time intelligence from space. Its first system, Odysseus-1, is designed to process satellite imagery and sensor data in orbit—dramatically accelerating insights for climate monitoring, global logistics, and national security. The long-term vision is a network of space-based compute platforms that transform Earth orbit into a distributed AI cloud.
