A Conversation with Stephanie Trunzo
Stephanie Trunzo is the CEO of MERGE, a marketing and technology agency focused on the health and wellness industry.
With 20-plus years in the executive trenches, she’s been the entrepreneurial spark, the transformation architect, the boardroom rebel at the intersection of tech, health, storytelling and leadership.
Stephanie is known for saying the unpopular thing just like this: “There is absolutely no reason for us to have a tolerant approach. If you see it - name it. If you’re feeling uncomfortable - talk about it. There is no room anymore for us to be silent or quiet.”
At Oracle she launched the global health business unit and masterminded the acquisition of Cerner. Before that, at IBM she helped build the IBM Garage — the startup-speed engine inside the enterprise shell.
Stephanie holds 20+ patents in AI and innovation. In 2024 she joined Frist Cressey Ventures Collective, a group of top-level industry executives dedicated to innovation and healthcare advancement.
