WTF is Hard Reset?

Great question. Hard Reset is a Substack publication focused on the experience of tech PROFESSIONALS, not founders, as the tech industry radically changes. We run an event series for folks within the industry to chat about the overlap between tech, labor, and what it means to build community IRL, while connecting through the spaces we all share.

Katherine Petrin is an Architectural Historian and Preservation Planner in private practice with offices in North Beach. She co-founded SF Neighborhood Theater Foundation, which advocates for the City's historic movie theaters. She has worked in New York City, London, and Sevilla, Spain. Her hometown, San Francisco, is a very fun place to do this kind of work.
