Wind Technology Testing Center Facility Tour
Go behind the scenes at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center’s Wind Technology Testing Center (WTTC), one of the nation’s most advanced facilities for testing utility-scale wind turbine blades. As part of Boston Climate Week, this guided tour offers clean energy and climate advocates a firsthand look at how full-scale offshore wind blades are tested to simulate decades of real-world operating conditions, helping ensure safety, reliability, and long-term performance while a sea.
Participants will also gain insights into MassCEC’s broader offshore wind strategy — supporting innovation, workforce development, and supply chain growth that positions Massachusetts as a national hub for offshore wind deployment.
To participate in this event, attendees will be required to sign a facility waiver, which will be distributed via email prior to the tour.
