​What to expect:

• ​An introduction to Precision Fermentation; what it is and how it's already in practice as well as one of the "friends" of precision fermentation - cell biomass!

• ​An engaging presentation from the NAIT Centre for Culinary Innovation on some of their enzyme-conversion and cell-based research reducing agricultural waste in Alberta

• ​A chat with Rainforest Algae about the future of sustainable protein alternatives

• ​Conversation and networking opportunity with individuals in food science and environmentally focussed groups

​Tickets are by donation to the University of Alberta Food Bank and include pizza dinner catered by Boxer Restaurant and one beverage (NA options available).
